Vote like your Life depends on it

This is the most important election the United States has ever had.

VOTE LIKE YOUR LIFE DEPENDS ON IT.
Why?
· Artificial Intelligence
· The country is on fire (literally)
· States are running out of water
· More cameras are watching our every move
· Developers keep destroying nature in search of money
· Our farms are disappearing
· Our wetlands are being destroyed
· Corporations are running rampant while our communities suffer
I mean, there’s so much more, but you get the idea.
We are entering a new world, but we don’t have to be the victims.
WAKE UP
We are moving from ‘the human experience’, to a dystopian anti-human future where people will be viewed as a burden.
Our children and grandchildren will not live in a stable society. They will not have clean air, clean water, or access to the natural environment we had growing up…
Unless we act NOW.
Does it not bother anyone else that we don’t have any national regulations on artificial intelligence safety? Or on protecting our natural resources and our communities from the energy lovin/water drinkin AI Data Centers?
The obvious endgame is to create AI that replaces our jobs. Does it not bother anyone that there are ZERO worker protections in the U.S. for this?
Does it not bother anyone that our politicians, who we elected to serve the community, ignored our calls for transparency, signed NDAs with trillion-dollar corporations, and most of them still have their jobs?
Vote them out!
Does it not bother anyone that every day we see videos of fires tearing through the landscapes, pollution smothering our most vulnerable communities, or floods drowning our towns because the natural defenses were ripped out and turned into parking lots?
I know the answer to these questions.
And I know a lot of you are working really hard. But you need to make your hard work count. Cross the finish line, instead of leaving the race early.
Also, I’m tired of hearing the ‘votes don’t matter,’ nonsense.
Congratulations, you fell for the propaganda.
BILLIONS of dollars will be spent to change your mind in 2026. “This year’s races are projected to reach $11.6 billion in ad spend, making it the most expensive cycle ever,” per CNBC.
They would not spend that much money if your vote didn’t matter.
We’re building a ‘House of the Future.’
2026 is the foundation for the house of the future. Because this timeline is way more different than even two years ago. Our vote this November will help decide the next century.
It is that significant.
I realize this article is a downer, but we haven’t actually done anything yet that will help us get real laws on the books that protect the 340 million plus people in the United States.
To be fair, some cities have started to create new regulations, but my goodness is it ever a patchwork. (And remember, those cities only took action because you raised hell.)
We needed statewide and federal laws, yesterday. And we need people who have the guts to enforce them, not a system bought by corporate interests.
I am extremely encouraged that people are becoming first time politicians. They are fed up with the establishment and are getting involved. We need more of that.
I am so thankful that people are finally going to city/county council meetings and participating in their local governments. That wasn’t always the case.
But the job is not finished.
If you care about the environment, if you care about making sure artificial intelligence doesn’t end society, if you care about protecting your community: run for office or put people office that will do that.
It’s that simple.
Go Vote, get involved, or live with the consequences.
