About Save it, or Lose it

‘Save it, or Lose it’ was started by Paul Rivera. It highlights those who are saving the trees, the water, and the land. The purpose of Save it, or Lose it, is to create a bridge from the people to those organizations, so that we can save our communities.

Paul Rivera is an environmental content creator who spent a decade as a local TV News reporter and traveled across the United States to tell the stories of everyday Americans. Born to Puerto Rican parents, Paul grew up in Southeast Louisiana. As he got older, his passion for nature and weather grew. In 2016, he began to cultivate a love for raw untouched wilderness, hiking trails, and a life on the mountaintops. This all led him to think, "how can you not want to save something so beautiful?"

 

Throughout his career, Paul has been in, or near Hurricanes, Floods, Tornadoes, Earthquakes, and Wildfires. Wherever the story takes him, he now uses the skills learned during his time as a news reporter to create videos of environmental issues and of the people who are trying to help save the environment we need to survive.
